New Zealand's top tennis player, Marina Erakovic, had her French Open preparations unsettled when she was eliminated from a tournament in Croatia yesterday.
Erakovic, whose year has been blighted by injury, exited in the first round in Zagreb, losing 6-7, 7-6, 3-6 to Hungarian Zsofia Gubasci. Erakovic will now head to Holland to train before playing in the qualifying rounds for the French Open, which starts in Paris on May 27.
