Fourth seed Francesca Schiavone of Italy has comfortably progressed to the quaterfinals of the ASB tennis Classic in Auckland.
Ranked 17th in the world Schiavone was too strong for her Indian opponent Sania Mirza winning their second round clash 6-0 6-3 to go through to the final eight.
Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova and seventh seed Aravane Rezai of France are now on centre court of the ASB Tennis Centre.
