New Zealand women's No 1 Sacha Jones was named Tennis Auckland player of the year and Cockle Bay the club of the year at the prizegiving awards last night.
Jones, 19, reached a career high ranking of 157 this year, winning four consecutive ITF tournaments and becoming the nation's top player for the first time.
