Maria Sharapova and Petra Kvitova stormed through to the women's final on day ten of the Championships.
A bevy of familiar faces were in the stands to watch the semifinals - Robert Redford and Jack Nicklaus looked on, while Martina Navratilova and Richard Branson compared hairstyles.
Sir Cliff Richard was also checking out the action - he famously kept the crowd entertained during a rain delay at the 1996 Championships by singing 'Summer Holiday'. Thankfully there's a roof on Centre Court now, so there's no chance of delays. Or Cliff Richard singing.
Kvitova could become the third left-hander in history to win the women's singles title - Navratilova was one of those lefties. After losing the second set against Victoria Azarenka, Kvitova reasserted herself to win 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.
Maria Sharapova is yet to drop a set this tournament. In her 12th Grand Slam semifinal appearance, Sharapova showed her experience after a nervous start to seal a 6-4, 6-3 victory against Sabine Lisicki.
Doubles fans were treated to some stunning rallies in the match between the top-seeded Bryan twins and Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner. The brothers have won ten Grand Slams and wowed the crowd with their in-sync performance and powerful chest-bumping.
The BBC has found a solution to the grunting problem at the Championships: Wimbledon NetMix allows sensitive viewers at home to fade out the sound of players on court and crank up the volume of commentators.
With a stiff upper lip, the All England Lawn and Tennis Club chief executive Ian Ritchie said the on-court noise was annoying for spectators and distracting for opposition players.
Newly-crowned US Master Golf Champion Rory McIlroy has met a few of the players at Wimbledon this week. The men have been indulging in a spot of golf in the changing rooms during the tournament, and McIlroy had a chance to show off his skills. But when invited to an impromptu putting competition, he failed to deliver with the putt that would have won him the Wimbledon Gold title.
The Sun reckons the Queen could be attending the All England Club on Sunday if Andy Murray manages to reach the final. The last time she was at Wimbledon was when Virginia Wade won the singles title in 1977.
