Artem Sitak's maiden appearance in the main draw at an ATP tennis tournament has been a brief affair.
The New Zealand Davis Cup representative was bundled out in the first round of the Legg Mason Classic in the United States today.
Sitak had few answers to American Donald Young, who breezed past the New Zealander 6-0 6-3 at Washington DC.
Young dominated all facets, overpowering 25-year-old Sitak with his serve.
