Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios and on-again, off-again model girlfriend Chiara Passari will spend the remaining days of hotel quarantine apart after police were called to an altercation at their shared room.
South Australia police responded to a call to their medi-hotel on Thursday afternoon after they were alerted to a verbal argument between two occupants, a spokesperson told news.com.au.
An investigation was conducted and no offences were disclosed, they said.
Police confirmed the pair would "now spend the remainder of their quarantine in separate rooms".
It came after Passari earlier on Thursday shared an image of Kyrgios in bed with a "naked girl" on Instagram.
Passari, who at the time was still sharing a room with Kyrgios, shared an image she claimed was of Kyrgios and another woman after a night out at a Melbourne nightclub.
Passari was asked by a fan during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday: "What happened that fateful night at 161 nightclub?" — a reference to Melbourne nightclub OneSixOne where Nick allegedly partied until the early hours back in February this year.
Passari then shared photo of a shirtless and sleeping Kyrgios.
"That girl naked in bed with him isn't me by the way … Hope that clears it up," she said.
Kyrgios and Passari started dating in July last year, just three months after Kyrgios split from Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya.
On February 2, Passari sparked rumours of a split when she uploaded a cryptic Instagram post.
The pair unfollowed each other on Instagram at the time but Passari just weeks later accused Kyrgios of clubbing until 6am in an Instagram Story posted on February 17, before quickly deleting the claims.
Then on February 23, Passari posted the following text messages between Kyrgios and herself.
