Germany's Florian Mayer made short work of New Zealand wildcard Dan King-Turner, with a 6-2 6-2 first round victory in the Heineken Open tennis tournament in Auckland today.
Unseeded Mayer, ranked 72nd in the world, took 63 minutes to beat King-Turner, ranked 673rd, in the opening match of the tournament.
