KEY POINTS:
The New Zealand team for the Davis Cup tennis tie against the Philippines at Easter has been confirmed with one change to the lineup which beat Pacific Oceania last month.
Matt Simpson replaces Adam Thompson in the only change to the team which includes Dan King-Turner, Simon Rea and Rubin Statham and Matt Simpson.
James Greenhalgh is non-playing captain.
The tie will be held at the Parnell Tennis Club in Auckland from April 6-8.
Some team members are in good form, with Rea becoming the first New Zealand male to win a futures singles title on home soil when he won in Hamilton last weekend, while King-Turner has been a solid performer on the futures circuit.
King-Turner has a current ranking of 477 and 546 in doubles which will improve dramatically after winning the doubles title in Hamilton.
Rea will improve his ranking around 300 places to inside the top 800 after his Hamilton victory. Statham, 19, sits at 850 in the world in singles and 778 in doubles.
Simpson, 22, is son of former Davis Cup captain and player Jeff Simpson, and nephew of long-standing New Zealand Davis Cup player Russell Simpson.
New Zealand have a record of one win, one loss against the Philippines in Davis Cup. In 1963 New Zealand lost to Philippines 1-3 in Manila while in 1989 New Zealand won 4-1 in Manila.
