New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic will not play the French Open in May.
The New Zealand No 2, who has spent most of the past year sidelined through injury and ill health, plans to focus on Wimbledon this year.
ASB Classic tournament director Brenda Perry told Newstalk ZB yesterday that Erakovic feels she can get better results on grass and hard courts rather than clay.
She has five more tournaments left before her WTA protected ranking of 82 expires.
