The New Zealand Davis Cup tennis team will have an away tie first up next year as it bids to qualify for the prestigious world group.
The draw overnight in London has Alistair Hunt's team travelling to China in early February for the Asia Oceania zone group one tie.
If the Kiwis win they will host India in April with the winner advancing to September's World Group qualifying round.
