New Zealand's Davis Cup tennis tie against China will be held in New Plymouth in September.
The venue for the Asia-Oceania group two final was announced today by Tennis New Zealand today.
New Zealand play China on September 19-21 to decide who earn promotion to the regional group one competition in 2009.
The tie will be staged indoors at the 2400 seat-capacity TSB Stadium.
A rollout tennis court surface will be installed a fortnight before the tie to enable the New Zealand team time to practice on the indoor surface.
Tennis New Zealand also considered hosting bids for the tie from Invercargill, Blenheim, Hamilton, Auckland and North Shore.
New Zealand advanced to the group final after away wins over Oman and Kuwait.
