Fourth seed Andy Murray has been knocked out of the US Open, going down to Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka in four sets.
Murray won the first set in a tie-breaker before 25th seed Wawrinka overpowered the Brit, taking out the match 6-7 7-6 6-3 6-3.
Murray was the fourth player seeded inside the top 10 to fail to get out of the third round.
Wawrinka will meet American Sam Querrey in the next round.
