Kiwi tennis ace Michael Venus is still alive in the Wimbledon doubles draw, advancing to the Round of 16 overnight.
Venus and American partner Ryan Harrison, seeded 10th, defeated Swedes Johan Brunstrom and Andreas Siljestrom 6-3 6-7 (8-10) 6-3 6-4 in the second round to progress.
They now face sixth-seeds Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Spaniard Marcel Granollers in their next outing.
Venus and Harrison took out the French Open title last month, elevating the New Zealand hope to 15th in world doubles rankings.
Fellow Kiwis Marcus Daniel and Artem Sitak were already in the third round.
