Marina Erakovic's dream run at the WTA Tournament in Rabat Morocco has come to an end.
The Kiwi tennis player has lost to the tournament's top seed Timea Bacsinszky 6-2, 6-1 in the final.
World number 15 Bacsinszky was dominant all tournament, losing just one set in five matches at the Moroccan claycourt event.
It was Bacsinszky's first title on red clay with all three of her previous tournament victories coming on hardcourts.
Erakovic had played seven back to back matches to advance to the final from qualifying. It was Erakovic's fifth shot at a WTA title, having only won one - in Memphis in 2013.
