The ASB Classic women's tennis tournament ends today and one of the players puts her recent success down to her husband, German race car driver Michael Krumm. Japanese player Kimiko Date, once ranked in the top 20, has come out of retirement and progressed steadily up the rankings. Krumm has raced extensively in Japan, winning the All-Japan Formula Three championships and Japan Grand Touring Car championships, and Europe, competing in four 24 Hours Le Mans.
