New Zealander Sebastian Lavie has lost his third-round singles match in the boys' singles at the US Open juniors in New York. American Raymond Sarmiento beat Lavie 7-5, 2-6, 6-1. Lavie will play his doubles quarter-final with Argentine Renzo Olivo against the French team of Julien Obry and Adrien Puget.
