KEY POINTS:
Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany and Spain's Juan Carlos Ferrero will meet in tomorrow's Heineken Open tennis final.
Ferrero, the fourth seed and a former world No 1, earned his spot by ending the giant-killing run of France's Julien Benneteau 6-3 6-4 in one hour 38 minutes.
Ferrero was solid on his serve and more accurate and powerful in his ground strokes than Benneteau, who could not recapture the form which saw him beat No 1 seed David Ferrer last night.
The former French Open champion is now ranked 24 in the world and will contest his 27th ATP tour final tomorrow.
Kohlschreiber, the seventh seed, made just his second final when he beat fourth seed Juan Monaco of Argentina 6-2 6-1 in 65 minutes.
Kohlschreiber outplayed Monaco in most are as of the game, hitting more winners and fewer errors than Monaco, who made more unforced errors than usual.
Ferrero has won his only previous encounter with Kohlschreiber.
