Kiwi tennis player Marcus Daniell has won through to a match up against his doubles partner at the Olympics in the second round of the ATP tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland.
Daniell and Brazilian partner Marcelo Demoliner have beaten a Swedish pair 7-6, 6-4.
They'll next take on the top seeds Kiwi Michael Venus and Croatian Mate Pavic for a place in the semi finals.
Meanwhile at the ATP event in Umag, Croatia fellow Kiwi Artem Sitak and American Nicholas Monroe as second seeds are into the quarter-finals after a straight set win over a local pairing in the first round.
In singles Rubin Statham has fought through qualifying and then won a rain delayed first round match at the US$50,000 Binghampton Challenger in New York.
