All four doubles teams featuring New Zealanders at Wimbledon have won their first round matches after victories overnight by Michael Venus and his partner as well as Marina Erakovic in her match.
Venus and Croatian partner Mate Pavic won in four sets against Santiago Giraldo (Colombia) and Portugal's Joao Sousa 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in two hours.
They will play Raven Klaasen (South Africa) and Rajeev Ram (USA) in the second round.
Erakovic and British partner Heather Watson defeated Ukraine's Nadiia Kichenok and Bojana Jovanovski from Switzerland in straight sets 6-4, 7-6 (4) . They face the Spanish 16th seeded pair of Anabel Medina Garrigues and Aranxta Parra Santonja in the second round.
Earlier Artem Sitak and Nicholas Monroe had won their match in five sets the previous day while Marcus Daniell and Brazilian partner Marcelo Demoliner scored a straight set win.
They will face Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Tunisian Malek Jaziri in the second round.
