Tournament director Brenda Perry has confirmed a new main draw wild card recipient for next week's ASB tennis Classic.
Japan's Kimiko Date-Krumm will replace New Zealand number one Sacha Jones after she sustained a stomach injury in training. Jones says she just has to move on and hope she can play the tournament next year.
She says it is disappointing but there is nothing she can do. Jones is hoping to fit in time for the Australian Open qualifying in a couple of weeks.
