Tennis: Isner likely to return to Auckland

It looks as though American John Isner will be back to defend his Heineken Open title next year.

Isner claimed his maiden ATP title in Auckland in January when he beat Frenchman Arnaud Clement in the final.

He's now indicated he's likely to be back in New Zealand.

Isner says he did well down under this year so at this stage he';s planning to follow the same schedule.

Meanwhile Isner has cruised into the second round of the Cincinnati Masters, belting Poland';s Lukasz Kubot 6-2 6-3.
