Tim Henman could be set to announce his retirement from tennis in the next few weeks, according to press reports.
The Times newspaper reported that the 32-year-old would attempt to play in the US Open in New York, starting on August 27, before bringing his professional career to a close with the Davis Cup tie at Wimbledon.
Henman's best world ranking was No 4 in 2002, but injury and loss of form have seen that crash to 92.
