Marina Erakovic might hope she can play with Britain's Heather Watson every week after the pair claimed their second WTA doubles title in only their second tournament together.
Erakovic and Watson won today's doubles final at the US$220,000 Texas Open in Dallas, easily beating Liga Dekmeijere (Latvia) and Irina Falconi (US) 6-3 6-0 in 52 minutes.
The pair also won last month's Stanford event and is Erakovic's seventh career WTA doubles title and will see her return to the world's top 50 doubles players.
Erakovic and Watson earlier defeated top seeded Czech combination Iveta Bensova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova 6-7(5) 6-4 10-7 in their semifinal but found little resistance from Dekmeijere and Falconi.
Erakovic was beaten in the second round of the singles at the Texas Open but her success in the doubles is a good tune-up for next week's US Open, where Erakovic has been drawn to face French wildcard Kristina Mladenovic in the first round
