Tennis: Erakovic wins doubles title in Thailand

New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has won the women's doubles title at the US$220,000 ($310,178) Pattaya Open in Thailand.

Erakovic and Thai partner Tamarine Tanasugarn beat the top seeds Arina and Anastasia Rodoniva 6-1 6-4 in the semifinals.

They went on to beat the Russian pair Anna Chakvetadze and Ksenia Pervak 7-5 6-1 in yesterday's final.
