Marina Erakovic avoided one of the big names in the first round at Wimbledon this week but has a tricky first-up match against an opponent she's had little success against.
The New Zealand No 1 and world No 71 will take on Japan's Ayumi Morita, who holds a 6-1 advantage over Erakovic. Morita is ranked 50 in the world.
The last time the two played was in January in Sydney when Morita won in straight sets.
The winner will face either Anabel Medina Garrigues of Spain or China's Peng Shuai, who is the 24th seed, in the second round
Erakovic and Zimbabwean partner Cara Black have been seeded 11th in the doubles.
