New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has been feverishly working on her clay court game in the build-up to next week's French Open in Paris.
Erakovic is playing in a tier three WTA tournament in Istanbul this week to prepare for her maiden Grand Slam appearance.
The 20-year-old says she has been doing a lot of work on several aspects of her game including on her movement on clay and her spin and kick serve.
Erakovic plays 76th ranked Polish player Marta Domachowska in the first round tomorrow morning.
The New Zealander is now ranked 78th in the world, a career high.
