Tennis: Erakovic makes main draw in Stanford

New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has continued where she left off on the grass in her opening hardcourt tournament ahead of the US Open.

Erakovic has won through three rounds of qualifying to make the main draw at the WTA tournament in Stanford.

The Kiwi number one has beaten Canada's Marie-Eve Pelletier 6-3 6-1 to join four top 10 ranked players and Serena Williams in the main draw.
