New Zealand's Marina Erakovic has improved to a career-best No 64 in the WTA tennis rankings.
She moved 16 places on the latest rankings list released today following a month of excellent form.
Erakovic made her Grand Slam debut at the French Open last month where she reached the second round and began her preparations for Wimbledon by winning the Surbiton grass court tournament in England yesterday.
That lifted her season's on-court earnings to US$95,944 ($126,625).
Erakovic, 20, is now in Birmingham for this week's US$200,000 ($267,000) tier three DFS Classic tournament.
She will contest her second Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon which starts in London on June 23.
