Marina Erakovic's Wimbledon campaign has been a short one following a doubles first round exit overnight to match her opening day singles defeat on Tuesday.
Erakovic and doubles partner Arantxa Parra Santonja fell to Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan in three sets.
Erakovic and Parra Santonja came into the grand slam full of confidence after winning a WTA tournament in the Netherlands last week but lost to the 12th seeds 4-6, 6-3, 3-6.
Earlier in the week Erakovic lost to 16-year-old Croatian Ana Konjuh in straight sets in her opening singles match.
It is the first time since 2010 that Erakovic, a former double semifinalists at Wimbledon, has failed to reach the second round both the singles and doubles in London.
