Tennis: Erakovic knocked out in straight sets

Marina Erakovic has been knocked out of the ASB Classic in Auckland.


She lost in the second round to Janette Husarova 6-4 6-0.


Erakovic has been battling the flu and was unable to repeat the performance of yesterday when she beat Canadian Marie-Eva Pelletier, the ASB Classic website reported.


Earlier, top seed Amy Frazier easily dispatched Lucie Safarova to advance into the last eight. She won in straight sets.
