New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has won through to the main draw at the Miami Open.
Erakovic has battled past 20-year-old Canadian Francoise Abanda 6-0, 6-7, 7-5 in a match lasting nearly two and a half hours.
The Miami tournament is one of the strongest outside the Grand Slams with most of the world's top 20 players in attendance.
