New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has continued her recent good form on clay to reach the quarterfinals of the US$50,000 ITF women's event in Reggio Emilia, Italy today.
The 23-year-old, building up for the French Open later this month, beat Swiss seventh seed Stefanie Voegele, ranked No.152 in world, 6-3 6-4 in the second round.
Erakovic, the world No.174, will now face Germany's Sabine Lisicki, who was ranked 22nd in the world in 2009, in the quarterfinals.
