New Zealand tennis No 1 Marina Erakovic has continued her preparations for Wimbledon by comfortably winning her first round match in a US$50,000 ($63,706) ITF tournament in Surbiton, England.
Erakovic, the tournament's third seed, beat Briton Naomi Cavaday 6-4 6-3 yesterday.
She now plays either Melinda Czink, of Hungary, or South African Chanelle Scheepers.
