Defending champions Croatia advanced to the quarterfinals of the tennis Davis Cup Saturday as Ivan Ljubicic and Mario Ancic teamed up in doubles to give them an unbeatable 3-0 lead over Austria.
Ljubicic and Ancic rallied to beat Julian Knowle and Jurgen Melzer 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 8-6 to advance to a meeting with Argentina, who took a 3-0 lead over Sweden.
