Tennis: Bartoli wins Classic, first WTA title

French player Marion Bartoli won her first WTA women's tennis title when she beat Russian Vera Zvonareva 6-2 6-2 in the final of the ASB Classic tournament at Auckland today.

Sixth seed Bartoli was too consistent for the eighth-seeded Zvonareva, dominating from the outset and eventually winning on her sixth match point.
