New Zealand's Leanne Baker has been easily beaten in the opening round of the ASB Tennis Classic in Auckland.
Baker has had no answers for China's Tiantian Sun, going down in straight sets 6-1 6-1 in under an hour.
Right from the outset Sun was aggressive and controled the points while the Kiwi seemed flat.
Baker admited things didn't start well and never really improved.
It is a fine, cool day in Auckland with the risk of an isolated shower.
