The governing body of men's tennis, the ATP, has apologised for remarks made about women players by newly elected board member Justin Gimelstob.
The 31-year-old American made his remarks while being interviewed on a radio chat show in the Washington DC area.
Apart from saying he wanted to make former Russian top-10 player Anna Kournikova "cry" he called French players Tatiana Golovin and Alize Cornet "sexpots" and said Czech player Nicole Vaidisova was a "well-developed young lady".
