Kiwi doubles player Artem Sitak and his Indian partner Divij Sharan have battled back from the brink of defeat to reach the semi-finals at the ATP 500 tournament in Basel.
They have saved two match points in the second set before beating Switzerland's Marc-Andrea Huesler and Dutchman Sam Verbeek
1-6, 7-6 (8) 10-5 in 1 hour 37.
The wildcard pair dominated the opening set and led before Sitak and Sharan got on the board. However Huesler and Verbeek who had upset top seeds Kiwi Michael Venus and his South African partner Raven Klaasen in the first round, closed out the set in just 21 minutes.
The second set was much tighter with a service break apiece before it went to a tie breaker where Huesler and Verbeek had match points at 6-5 and 8-7. But Sitak and Sharan rallied and levelled the match to force a deciding match tie break.
