Artem Sitak has joined Kiwi number one Michael Venus in the doubles draw at the lucrative ATP 500 tournament in Washington DC this week.
The Kiwi number two and doubles partner India's Divij Sharan have qualified for the main draw after a tight 7-5, 7-6 (6) win over Russian Danil Medvedev and Belarussian Ilya Ivashka.
Sitak and Sharan are playing their second tournament together following their quarter final showing at Wimbledon and will face wildcards India's Leander Paes and American Jamie Cerretani in the first round.
Venus and his South African partner Raven Klaasen return to the tour for the first time since their run to the Wimbledon final. They have been drawn against Klaasen's former partner Rajeev Ram and Dutchman Jean-Julien Rojer in the first round.
Meanwhile fresh from reaching the semi finals at the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg last week, Marcus Daniell and his Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof have remained in Europe for the ATP 250 clay court tournament in Kitzbuhel in Austria. They are the third seeds and have been drawn against wildcards Austrian Jurgen Melzer and German Philip Petzschner.
