Fifth seeded Croatian Mario Ancic has won through to the final of the 2006 Heineken Open, beating unseeded Stanilas Wawrinka of Switzerland 6-3 6-1.
In the other semi-final, Jarkko Nieminen of Finland beat Belgian Olivier Rochus 6-4 6-7 7-6.
The matches were played in fine conditions in front of a capacity crowd with plenty of Croatian supporters on hand to support their man.
Ancic, who is ranked number 21 in the world, was too strong for his opponent, who made too many unforced errors.
Ancic will be playing in his fifth ATP tour final tomorrow.
"It was extremely tough match. I was just trying to play really aggressive and that was my main goal," said Ancic.
