Rafael Nadal rubber-stamped his credentials as the world's best claycourter at the French Open tennis championship on Monday (NZ time), once again ruining Roger Federer's date with destiny.
By bringing the world No 1 to his knees with a 6-3 4-6 6-3 6-4 exhibition, Nadal took his place alongside Bjorn Borg as the only men to have won a hat-trick of trophies at Roland Garros in 93 years.
