Michael Venus and Katarina Srebotnik have lost in the semifinals of the mixed doubles at Wimbledon.
They went down to Alexander Peya from Australia and his American partner Nicole Melichar 6-4 6-4.
The match was moved to Court No 1, because a boy's semifinal match between Nicolas Mejia and Jack Draper went to 19-17 in the third on court No 3, where this match was originally scheduled.
It is Venus' first loss at this year's championship and means he has just the gentlemen's singles final on Saturday to focus on.
He and Srebotnik were the ninth seeds in the mixed doubles and were taking on the 11th seeds. But there were early breaks of serves in each set suffered by the New Zealand and Slovenian combination and that proved decisive.
