New Zealand tennis player Dan King-Turner's hopes of contesting Wimbledon ended during qualifying in England today.
He lost in the first round of qualifying at Roehampton after a marathon third set which stretched to 28 games.
In the end, King-Turner went down 6-2 6-7 13-15 to Slovakia's Andrej Martin.
The year's third Grand Slam tournament starts next Monday.
