Tennis: Nalbandian out

Former Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian has withdrawn from the Australian Open due to an abdominal injury.

The 28-year-old Argentine player withdrew from Auckland Heineken Open this week and informed Australian Open organisers yesterday that he was unfit to contest the opening Grand Slam.
