The third-round Australian Open match featuring Ana Ivanovic was stopped after the Serb's coach collapsed in the stands.
Nigel Sears, who is also Andy Murray's father in law, was treated by medics and left Rod Laver Arena on a stretcher.
The Seven Network is reporting Sears was taken to hospital but is conscious, breathing and talking.
Play was suspended indefinitely at Rod Laver Arena when Ivanovic was leading Madison Keys 6-4 1-0.
The break lasted almost 55 minutes.
