Former Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic's comeback to competitive tennis came to an abrupt end in the second round of the Milan ATP indoor event today when he lost to Tommy Robredo.
Playing in his first tournament since last June, Ivanisevic fought hard but eventually bowed out to the Spanish third seed 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7/4).
Robredo will meet Mario Ancic in the quarter-finals after the Croat defeated Spanish No 6 seed Rafael Nadal 7-5, 6-2.
