Former Wimbledon tennis champion John Newcombe (above) has recovered from a stroke and insists his partying days are behind him.
The former Australian Davis Cup captain, 59, was often photographed celebrating in bars after victories and in the 1970s was a drinking buddy of US President George W. Bush.
"I can do those things in moderation. If I'm smart, I won't have any big (parties) any more," the seven-time grand slam winner said.
