The punters are flocking to back the All Blacks in the wake of last weekend's big win in Sydney.
New Zealand opened as 19.5 point favourites for the second Bledisloe Cup test however a wave of early money on the All Blacks saw the line quickly shoot out to 21.5 points. The shift in price hasn't dissuaded the betting public from backing the All Blacks though and as of Friday afternoon there was four times as much money behind New Zealand in that market.
The support for the All Blacks is just as strong in the winning team & margin market where 80 per cent of all money is on New Zealand 13 & Over. That selection opened at $1.35 but has now been backed in to $1.27 due to the heavy support for a big All Blacks victory and one punter has placed a $3,000 wager on at the smaller price of $1.27.
One punter has showed a heap of faith in the All Blacks securing the Bledisloe Cup at Eden Park, placing a $60,000 bet on New Zealand in the match result market at $1.05 on Monday afternoon.
The punters are also taking the opportunity to celebrate Owen Franks' big night, with Franks being by far the most backed option in the first try scorer market. There is currently more than twice as much money on Franks scoring the first try at $51 than there is backing any other player in the book.
