Christchurch teenager Sophia Batchelor showed another glimpse of her undoubted potential in winning gold yesterday at the Oceania Championships in Samoa.
The 15-year-old won the final of the women's 200m backstroke, setting a New Zealand age-group record.
Batchelor's was one of 10 medals won by the New Zealand team at the Tuanaimato Aquatic Centre in Apia.
