Three North Shore swimmers have toppled New Zealand age-grade records at the Auckland championships.
Brad Herring claimed the 17 years 50m freestyle mark with a time of 24.17s when he touched ahead of Olympian Trent Bray in the heats of the open event. Bray won the final.
Scott Talbot-Cameron comfortably won the open 200m backstroke, setting a new mark for 17-year-olds at 2m 6.87s. In the 15 years girls race, Monique Robins snipped 0.07s off the national 50m backstroke time.
